Paperwise 2025 Recap: Advancing Intelligent Automation and Stronger Integrations

As organizations continue to demand smarter, faster, and more connected document workflows, 2025 marked a pivotal year for Paperwise. From meaningful product evolution to strategic partnerships and internal growth, our focus remained on strengthening the Paperwise platform while laying the foundation for the next generation of intelligent document management.

Here’s a look back at what made 2025 such an important year for Paperwise.

Biggest Wins of 2025

Expanding Digital Signature Capabilities with SignNow

One of the most impactful milestones of 2025 was our new partnership with SignNow, including a seamless Symphony-to-SignNow integration. This integration allows documents to be sent directly from Symphony for signature, keeping workflows moving without manual handoffs or system switching. It represents another step toward true end-to-end document automation.

Advancing Intelligent Capture Capabilities

While Intelligent Capture itself is not new to Paperwise, 2025 marked a turning point in how Intelligent Capture is built, applied, and extended across the platform. This year’s work focused on rethinking the underlying architecture and expanding how capture supports real-world workflows, setting the stage for more advanced, AI-driven capabilities moving forward.

Enhanced Sagitta Integration

We also delivered an updated Sagitta integration, improving reliability, performance, and data accuracy for insurance-focused customers. These enhancements ensure Paperwise continues to integrate seamlessly into industry-specific ecosystems where precision, compliance, and efficiency are critical.

Key Accomplishments from the Paperwise Team

Continued Investment in Internal Development

Throughout 2025, the Paperwise team prioritized internal development initiatives that strengthen the core platform. These efforts focused on scalability, performance, and preparing Symphony to support more advanced automation and capture use cases.

Business Central Integration Development

Significant progress was made on our Business Central integration, expanding Paperwise’s ability to connect document workflows with ERP systems and support broader financial and operational processes.

Growing Our Technical Team

To support innovation and provide even better customer experiences, we expanded our technical staff in Q4, adding system administration, engineering, and development resources. These investments position Paperwise to deliver faster enhancements, stronger support, and a more resilient platform.

New Capabilities Added in 2025

Evolving How Intelligent Capture Is Built and Used

While Intelligent Capture has long been part of the Paperwise platform, 2025 focused on evolving its foundation. By incorporating AI into Intelligent Document Processing, we enhanced classification, data recognition, and the handling of unstructured documents.

Rather than treating capture as a standalone step, these updates position Intelligent Capture as a more flexible, adaptive component of broader document workflows, laying the groundwork for the next generation of capture capabilities planned for 2026.

Symphony Workflow and Usability Enhancements

Throughout the year, multiple Symphony updates were released to improve usability, visibility, and workflow efficiency. These enhancements were designed to help users move faster while maintaining control and traceability across document-driven processes.

Key improvements included:

  • Expanded workflow configuration options to support more complex business logic
  • Improved document handling and routing for greater consistency and reliability
  • Better visibility into document status and workflow progress
  • User experience refinements that reduce friction in day-to-day operations

Together, these updates reinforced Symphony’s role as the central hub for intelligent document management.

Platform Enhancements Supporting Scale and Integration

Beyond user-facing features, 2025 included important platform-level improvements that support scalability, integration, and long-term growth. These enhancements ensure Paperwise continues to evolve alongside customer needs.

Highlights included:

  • Ongoing optimization of Symphony’s underlying architecture
  • Enhancements that support deeper integrations with ERP and third-party systems
  • Foundational work to support upcoming UI enhancements and capture-driven workflows

While many of these improvements operate behind the scenes, they play a critical role in keeping Paperwise reliable, extensible, and future-ready.

Events, Partnerships, and Collaboration in 2025

Collaboration was a major theme throughout the year, both internally and with strategic partners:

  • Hosted a joint webinar with SignNow, highlighting real-world use cases for digital signatures within Symphony
  • Conducted strategic planning sessions with DAT Keypoint to align on future innovation and growth
  • Held a sales summit with leadership to align strategy, messaging, and go-to-market plans
  • Expanded our partnership with Vertex Systems, strengthening collaboration across the broader Dura Software ecosystem

These engagements helped ensure alignment across teams while keeping customer needs at the center of everything we do.

Looking Ahead: What’s Coming in 2026

The momentum from 2025 continues into an ambitious 2026 roadmap, including:

  • Continued expansion of Business Central capabilities
  • A next-generation Intelligent Capture solution, driven by deeper AI and automation
  • A new customer webinar series, beginning in Q1 with a focus on Intelligent Capture
  • A new Symphony UI release in Q1, enabling Intelligent Capture workflows to be handled directly within Symphony
  • Data center migrations later in the year to support scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Release of Enterprise Paperwise V8, marking a major evolution of the platform
