Flourishing PaperWise looks to future, adding a measure of new employees
Springfield, Mo. - January 16, 2007 - As PaperWise grows toward reaching its next phase of organizational goals, they are pleased to welcome
several new employees to the team. The bourgeoning office space now houses new employees in accounting,
administrative, engineering, implementation, marketing, sales, and support departments. A business
analysis department has also been added.
On top of a need to satisfy growing demand, the addition of new employees is the result of a corporate
initiative to improve the customer experience from start to finish.
“We want to make the transitions our customers pass through a smoother process,” Dan Langhofer,
PaperWise president and CEO, says. From the new PaperWise that was launched in 2000, the organization
began with a focus on redesigning the product and generating a stabilized customer base.
Then the focus moved to a direct sales force, which Langhofer describes as “extremely successful.”
Currently, the focus is shifting to marketing and business analysis efforts. All these transitions
are in support of the company’s drive to provide the best solution to its customers.
The advent of the business analysis department will be instrumental in building the customer experience
initiative. Analyzing the needs of the customer from start to finish, the new department will be
specifically responsible for ushering new customers from the sales process to a smooth implementation.
The marketing department, which plays a key role in all customer relationships, is also being expanded
to include specialists in relationship marketing and public relations.
New hires will undergo extensive product training with the help of Joe Badger. Besides educating the new
staff on the PaperWise product suite, the goal of the training department is to reach the most customers
possible through events like the Administrator and User Educational Workshops. Using the new fleet of
staff, PaperWise has set some new organizational goals and expects great achievement from the newly
expanded team.
“We felt a push to hire because our people at PaperWise couldn’t continue to wear five hats at once.
I believe a person can achieve anything if they focus on the end result, but no one can focus on five
end results at a time,” Langhofer says. Still, a rigorous hiring process paid off. The new staff fits
right in with the already very competent PaperWise team. “One of our corporate philosophies is we are
always looking for all-stars,” Langhofer says. “And we ran across candidates who already are or will
soon become all-stars,” he says.
