PaperWise Gives Back for the Holidays in Honor of Customers

Springfield, Missouri, December 17, 2010 - Software and technology provider PaperWise, Inc. elects to make a holiday contribution to The Food Bank of Ozarks Food Harvest (OFH) in honor of customers - a donation that will provide 14,000 meals to those in need.

In past years, PaperWise has entered the holiday season with a plan to send cheer to customer partners.  "Traditionally we have always sent Christmas cards hand-signed by everyone in the company," explained Marketing Manager Lance Langford.  "Last year we ran a holiday contest where we were able to give away items such as Livescribe Smartpens and Apple iPods."

During 2010 holiday planning, the marketing team at PaperWise felt this year's holiday message to customers would be a prime opportunity to giveaway more than the traditional Christmas card or gift.  Instead, the team thought it would be good to do something that would allow them to share the real meaning of the season with others.  The idea to share goodwill during the holiday season led to a donation in the honor of all PaperWise customers to food bank and charity organization Ozarks Food Harvest (OFH).

"Every year, the holidays provide an opportunity for us to show our gratitude to our customers for their continued partnership throughout the year," said Beverly Baker, PaperWise COO.  "With the economy the way it has been, there are more people in need this holiday season.  When we saw the opportunity to make a contribution in our customers' honor that would ultimately impact so many individuals, the decision to make a donation was simple."

In lieu of Christmas cards, PaperWise made a donation to food bank and charity organization OFH, helping the organization provide 14,000 meals to those in need during the holidays.  The OFH Food Bank is the only one of its kind in southwest Missouri, serving more than 300 nonprofit hunger relief organizations across 28 Ozarks counties.

"We are thrilled to present Ozarks Food Harvest with this donation," shared Baker.  "It is an incredible opportunity to make a big impression in the lives of others this Christmas."
