Excitement is
building as our team prepares for the anticipated release of the
latest in PaperWise technology, Version 7. As we prepare for Summit
2011, we also draw closer to showcasing the new face in document
management technology - a revolutionized solution that offers a
complete user experience from a singular software application.
While customer partners across industries have found efficiency and
streamlined processes with the PaperWise Suite, there is even more
to gain with this new and dynamic solution. Version 7 offers a more
collaborative solution to businesses. Dedicated to bring the most
advanced product to our users, our team focused on three key
initiatives: intuitive usability, individual flexibility, and
simple deployment.
When planning Version 7, we focused on ways to improve the interaction between the user and the product. The PaperWise team has gone to great lengths to study exactly how the Suite of Applications is utilized by our users in order to make Version 7 an extremely user-friendly application. After conducting research, our engineers have created a discoverable user interface. This enables users to begin using the product with minimal training.
One of the significant improvements to usability is the fact that Version 7 is an inclusive solution, meaning it incorporates all of the PaperWise modules you've come to rely on into a single application. This eliminates the need to switch between application windows. The functionality of ImageWise, Query, Send To, and Dashboards are just a few examples of the modules that have been incorporated into Version 7. As the Suite of Applications has been merged into a single interface, users can discover even greater efficiency gains and usability through enhanced and simplified processes.
Another initiative in the development of Version 7 was to increase flexibility for the end user. From the beginning, Version 7 was designed to simplify the deployment process. This provides PaperWise administrators with an efficient way to deploy organization-wide updates including new upgrades, modules, features, and hot-fixes. Rather than installing updates on each workstation, Version 7 allows changes to be distributed from one central location. To maintain an up-to-date system, users can simply click the "check for updates" icon; the application will then search for available updates or upgrades and automatically install the user with the latest version approved by the administrator. With this new deployment model, users can stay updated with any fixes or new additions to the software program, and thus easily maintain the highest level of efficiency without interrupting daily processes.
