Introducing Version 6.4.2

PaperWise version 6.4.2 is now available

PaperWise presents software fixes and additional feature requests in the latest version of the Suite, version 6.4.2. Many of the updates in version 6.4.2 are a result of customer feedback and requests. To offer prompt revisions or additions to 6.4.1 and meet the immediate needs of our users, PaperWise has opted to make changes prior to the next major release of software.

Version 6.4.2 highlights the following enhancements:

Query

• User lists sort by real name rather than user name.
• Allows for a total of 15 tabs to be opened simultaneously.
• MHT Files can be viewed in Windows 7.
• Emails generated from PaperWise support Outlook signatures
• Remembers on which computer monitor it was last displayed when using multiple monitors.
• Numerous performance enhancements.

Full Text Searching

• Support searching on extremely large file cabinets, even with filters in place.
• Fixed an issue where some documents for a given search string were being excluded from the results.
• Resolved an issue that resulted when searching a User List field.

Workflow Inbox

• Supports Windows Authentication for logging in, allowing users to bypass the login screen for Workflow Inbox.

Deployment

• Installation can be completed without requiring a C:\ drive.

ImageWise Barcode Component

• Improved performance of barcode scanning.

MailWise

• Filters are now capable of recognizing the domain from which the sender sent an email.

Object Model

• Corrected an issue where Microsoft Office Automation was throwing a Normal.dot error.
