New Integration with TMW Management System, TruckMate, Enhances Functionality for Customers

Founded in 1988, PaperWise has a long line of experience working with a variety of transportation customers that utilize TMW Systems products such as the TMW Suite, Innovative, and TruckMate. Today, the document management and ECM software company continues to serve the transportation industry through consultation, business analysis, world-class solutions, and seamless integrations.

While implementing the PaperWise Product Suite for transportation customer Bay & Bay Transfer, a new integration was built with the trucking company's management system TruckMate, a TMW Systems product. Familiar with the transportation management system, PaperWise systems engineer Nate Degen quickly acknowledged the need for a more enhanced integration for Bay & Bay Transfer to receive the best outcome of the products working together.

An existing integration TruckMate has with several imaging vendors provides a very flexible interface with menu integrations between many areas of the product. Through this connection, users can pick and choose which areas they would like to image enable. As Degen began to integrate the two products together, he realized a new integration could be built that would enable a heightened level of functionality from both systems.

"We built a configurable interface that allows an IT department to add additional imaging support to areas of TruckMate without PaperWise assistance," explained Degen. "This allows them to roll PaperWise out to new areas of their organization with minimal cost. In addition, we enhanced the integration with new TruckMate 'checklist' support."

With the new TruckMate integration built and utilized by a common customer, PaperWise has begun to work with TMW on becoming a business partner. A relationship like this would benefit transportation companies of all sizes, using various TMW Systems products and the PaperWise Suite, as the two companies work together to bring efficiency to their customers.
